Download Spotify through the publisher’s official app route. Installing an app and having a Premium subscription are different things. This guide explains where to get Spotify, how offline listening differs between account types, and what to check when an Android installation fails.

Start at Spotify’s download page and follow its Android option. Check the publisher identity on the store listing before installing. A third-party page calling a package “Premium unlocked” does not establish that Spotify published it or that your account has Premium access.
Free listening and Premium downloads
Spotify’s published guidance distinguishes offline music downloads from podcast downloads: music downloads require Premium, while Free users can download podcasts. Check the features and availability shown for your account and country rather than relying on a modified APK’s advertising.
Install and update carefully
- Use the official download route and check that the device can install the current app.
- Allow enough free storage for the app and any offline content.
- Use the update option supplied by the official store or publisher route.
- Before uninstalling, note that offline items may need to be downloaded again after reinstalling.
