Look for its first full spelling in the document, a glossary or the organisation’s own explanation. Confirm which country, industry or product the text concerns. A search result matching the same three letters can still refer to a different subject.
If a file has an unfamiliar extension
Do not rename it to APK to force installation. Identify the source and expected format, and leave an unknown file unopened until its purpose is clear.
