For GTA V on a Windows PC, use the official PC edition and its supported launcher or store route. An Android APK is not a Windows game installer. This guide explains what to check before downloading and how to distinguish the PC game from unrelated files using its name.
Start at the Rockstar PC listing
Open Rockstar’s GTA V store listing. It describes GTAV Enhanced and GTAV Legacy for PC. Check the edition, purchase or account entitlement, download route and current requirements shown there. We do not supply a cracked game or a file labelled “GTA V PC APK”.
Enhanced and Legacy: check the right requirements
Do not apply a requirements table for one edition to the other. On the publisher listing, compare the operating system, processor, memory, graphics and storage requirements for the edition you intend to use. Requirements can change with updates; an old download-page number should not replace the current listing.
A careful download and installation workflow
Use the store or launcher associated with your legitimate copy. Check the available disk space and whether the download is still in progress before diagnosing installation. Keep your account recovery information accessible, but never share a password or verification code with a download site.
